You can easily customize items in the Meridian Explorer client application user interface as described in the following table.

Customizable items
Item	Description
Company logo shown on the Home page	Replace C:\inetpub\wwwroot\ExplorerClient\Custom\CompanyLogo.gif
Text shown on the Home page	Replace C:\inetpub\wwwroot\ExplorerClient\Custom\Welcome.htm. Localized versions of the file are provided for each supported language.
Icons for each file extension used by documents	Replace C:\inetpub\wwwroot\ExplorerClient\Custom\Icons\<FileExtension>_icon.gif Note Do not replace DOC_DEFAULT.gif or TAG_DEFAULT.gif.
Icons for each object tag type	Replace C:\inetpub\wwwroot\ExplorerClient\Custom\Icons\<TagTypeName>_icon.gif
Icons for each view	Replace C:\inetpub\wwwroot\ExplorerClient\Custom\ViewImages\<RepositoryName>_<ViewID>_<ViewType>.gif <ViewID> can be found as described in Configuring repository views <ViewType> is Documents, Tags, or Projects
Thumbnail images shown for each object tag type	Replace C:\inetpub\wwwroot\ExplorerClient\Custom\Thumbnails\ObjectTag\<TagTypeName>.png Note Do not replace DEFAULT_OBJECTTAG.gif.

After you replace items, you must restart Internet Information Services for the changes to take effect.
